Quality not quantity please.....

Get stuff were approached to help with the launch of two titles. Norfolk Roots and the "Lets talk" Summer special. Neither magazine is a giveaway at £3.99 and £2 respectively and the brief was for a quality, tangible product, tapes had been tried in the past on similar titles.

The audience in both instances were gender non specific, mature 55+, East Anglians.

Tight budget, relatively small volumes of 10,000 and 65,000 meant that the "standard" partners in the music world would not be appropriate. The BBC and their audiobooks were sourced as the ideal partner, an excellent range of titles that were deemed appropriate for the target audiences and enthusiasm to work with get stuff on the project within the budgets stated.

The outcome was two highly successful magazine launches resulting in get stuff being retained for the 2nd editions of each title and a referral onto a 3rd title launching in late 2004.
